HEATING

The house will be cozy and warm upon arrival! If you prefer a different temperature, you can find the thermostat next to the stairs leading to the second floor.

FIREPLACE

The fireplace is available for your use, and the wood baskets will be well-stocked. If you need fire starters, it’s best to bring your own or find them at Delhaize Supermarket Opglabbeek. Extra wood is available for EUR 15 per basket (about 10 logs). If you need additional wood, feel free to contact us via our WhatsApp service (24-hour notice).

COOKING

The vacation home has an oven and a microwave. There is no deep fryer. A barbecue or Teppanyaki/Electric Stone Grill can be provided through the Ellé’Belle Food Delivery Service. Pepper, salt, and olive oil are available in the house.

EXTRA CLEANING

If you would like an additional cleaning during your stay—highly recommended for stays longer than 7 nights—just let us know, and our cleaning staff will come by at your preferred day/time.

HAIRDRYER

A hairdryer is available in the bathroom.

LAUNDRY & IRONING

There is no washing machine or ironing facilities in the vacation home. The nearest laundromat is 5 minutes/2 km from the vacation home:

BICYCLES

Bike rental is available in Oudsbergen. There are no bicycles provided in the vacation home. [More info >](#)

TELEVISION

Popular TV channels via HDMI 4 – Telenet. To turn on the TV, press the ON/OFF button on the top left. Select Telenet on the top right. At the bottom right of the remote, select the HDMI source. Please use our chat service for any technical issues.

MUSIC

Listen to your favorite music via the Ellé’Belle iPad and Sonos Music System. Click the gray Sonos APP at the bottom of the iPad screen to select music. There is no Bluetooth speaker in the vacation home. If you are a Spotify user, you can log in to your account via the Sonos APP and listen to your personal music through the Ellé’Belle Sonos Music System.

NESPRESSO

A Nespresso machine is available in the vacation home. It’s best to bring your own Nespresso capsules if you wish to use the machine. Nespresso cups are also available at ELCADO – Weg naar Zwartberg 86 – as well as in nearby supermarkets.

PRECAUTIONS

WINE GLASSES

Please handle the crystal wine glasses with care. If one breaks, the cost per glass is EUR 15.

EMERGENCY

A fire blanket and fire extinguisher are available in the kitchen and at the back of the XL wood basket next to the fireplace. SOS numbers and instructions for emergencies are provided in the kitchen.

MUSIC NOSTALGIA

Enjoy ‘a touch of music nostalgia’ during your stay at Ellé’Belle. Thank you for your care for the vinyl records, CDs, and system! There are 134 vinyl records and 20 CDs provided. Missing items at checkout will be deducted from the deposit at EUR 40 per piece. Thank you for your understanding.

HOUSE RULES

WASTE

It is not allowed to leave waste in the vacation home. Waste must be taken to the waste sorting area in the garden and sorted. The waste sorting area is located to the left and right of the white gate, a few steps from the back door. *Extra charges apply if additional services such as waste removal/sorting are required by our cleaning team. Extra charges will be deducted from the deposit.

DISHES

At checkout, the dishwasher must be emptied and all dishes and pots/pans should be returned to their place. Extra service hours for washing dishes or emptying the dishwasher by our cleaning team are not included in the standard service. *Extra charges apply if additional services such as dishwashing or emptying the machine are required. Extra charges will be deducted from the deposit.

PETS

Pets are only allowed upon prior consultation. Please be careful with pets on the sofas. Preferably, no pets on the stairs and upper floor.

SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed in the vacation home.

NOISE

We ask you to avoid noise disturbances to the surroundings. In the event of police intervention due to excessive noise, we reserve the right to withhold the entire amount of the deposit.

PARTIES/GATHERINGS

Parties/gatherings with more than 10 people are only allowed after consultation. We reserve the right to withhold the entire amount of the deposit for organizing parties of more than 10 people without permission.

CHECK-OUT

Upon departure, please place the key set in the key box at the agreed time. Please send a photo via WhatsApp once the keys are back in the key box. Our cleaning team will come 30 minutes after the agreed check-out time to collect the keys. Please let us know at check-out if you purchased any items from our wood collection. Purchased items will be deducted from your deposit.

DEPOSIT

As stated via Booking.com/Airbnb, a deposit of EUR 200 is required. Your deposit will be fully refunded within 5 working days after check-out, following inspection for any damage to the accommodation.
